The GritTimer Sensors and Emitters include status monitoring. When connected correctly the LED glows dimly. When correctly mounted and 'seeing' the Emitter, the Sensor LED glows brightly. Mounting is accomplished with simple hook and loop fasteners. The blue tube acts to block ambient light from the sensor.

All cable wiring is color coded and noted on each label. A Black Sensor wire indicates that the Sensor is used in Lane 1, a Silver wire in Lane 2. This wire coloring is consistent throughout. All Sensors are identical, their line and lane function are controlled entirely by the connected wire.

Sensor/Emitters are guaranteed to a minimum of four feet of range. An optional Sensor/Emitter is available with a minimum range of 20 feet.

In the Micro model, the winning lane is displayed by flashing its Sensor LED.
