The GritTimer Driver Controller, used with all models, has rubber side grips and two large pushbuttons. The Black Race Button is enabled whenever the Start Tree is enabled and will cause power to be applied to the Racer. Pre-race testing can be accomplished by pressing both the Black Race Button and the Red Test Button simultaneously. Caution should of course be observed. As with the Sensors and Emitters, wire color determines function. The controller with the Black wire will control the Lane 1 power extension, the Controller with the Silver wire will control the Lane 2 power extension.
