The Race Accept Screen

Race AcceptScreen

The third tab from the left is the Race Screen. At the conclusion of a run, the Race Screen enters the Accept condition. The top half of this screen is identical to the Ready condition. The bottom three lines give the results and the three buttons again change functions.

Win-Lose Time:

Shows the time (e.g. 6.1234 Seconds) for both the Winner and the Loser. In the case of the winner, the typeface is larger and Red. In the case of the loser is the same typeface as the other data. This time is the difference between when the Tree 'goes Green' and the Racer crosses the Finish Line.

Start-Finish Time:

Shows the speed (e.g. 15.1234 MPH) for both the Winner and the Loser. The speed is the average speed from the crossing of the Start Line to the crossing of the Finish Line.

Reaction Time:

Shows the time (e.g. 0.1234 Seconds) for both the Winner and the Loser. This time is the difference between when the Tree 'goes Green' and the Sander crosses the Start Line. If it is negative, that is if the Racer crosses the Start Line before the Tree 'goes Green', then the other numbers do not appear, in fact cannot appear since an early crossing of the Start Line kills the power to the Racer.

Run Again Button:

The results of the run are rejected, the system returns to the Ready screen as if the run never occurred.

Accept Button:

The results of the run are accepted and recorded. The winner advances in the winner bracket, the loser advances in the loser bracket. If these results cause a subsequent heat to be filled with entries, then the subsequent heat will likely appear on the Standby Screen. If the result is 'Placing' or 'Out' then a message with that information will appear. In addition, GritTimer Pro will announce, "Official".

Disqualify Button:

Changes the button labels to allow you to disqualify Lane 1, Lane 2 or Neither and return to this screen.
