Created originally for Power Tool Drag Racing, GritTimer is a series of high precision, low cost, timers with several options that allow use in many different kinds of racing from Valve Covers to the Soap Box Derby to ATVs to....?? A Red button on the GritTimer control panel provides simple control.

For AC Mains powered racing, GritTimer includes complete and individual AC power control for both lanes as well as a Starting Tree. Accurate timing measurement to 0.0000 seconds is accomplished using custom designed, high speed pulsed, high repeatability infrared optical sensors. Commercial, industrial 'bottle counters' are NOT used simply because they do not provide accurate, repeatable, precise timing. A long distance option for the sensors allows for larger race vehicles.

• Micro allows for start and finish on one lane or finish only on two lanes.
• Micro Winner Time requires computer with USB port and HyperTerm or similar program.
• An optional large bulb, line powerer Start Tree is available.
• Red Light Shutdown always kills the Tree, but only the power if optional Power Control System is used.
• Optional long distance sensors are available with a minimum range of 20 feet.
• RaceManager software requires Win98 or later and a USB port.
